To not leave this wonderful domain name empty forever I want to start showcasing selected sites that make you proud being South African. I’m looking for other fellow South Africans who’re willing to create a real initiative with the wonderful domain name proudly.co.za that I happened to register a while ago. I’m willing to give it away for a good cause if it will be used properly…

I am on my own right now but hope that PROUDLY.co.za is soon going to grow into something much bigger. Until then I’ll blog here from time to time whenever I find positive content that I want others to know about.

Old Mission statement, inherited from realsouthafrica.co.za

We at realsouthafrica.co.za are fully aware of the many problems South Africa faces and that those problems are partly responsible for slower economic growth than we could experience. The problems are mainly those of crime, unemployment, poverty and HIV/Aids. We wish to make a positive contribution to the development of the country by following a positive approach and the supporters and advertisers on this site share that approach.

By encouraging tourism in which we have been involved for a number of years we wish to aid in creating a positive attitude which will bring visitors to our country and increase the number of people who have gainful employment, thereby forming a greater base of income earning citizens. Community efforts will be supported and assistance will be provided for prospective entrepreneurs. The shortcomings will be mentioned wherever they exist, but efforts will be made to improve on these shortcomings. This site is NOT a political site and does not support any political party or its policies.

South Africa and its people form a whole and the face we present is a happy one. We form a whole bound by the South African flag. Yes, we look a bit battered but we are proud of that too and eventually we may even loose the scars, but until then the scars represent our past. But we all strive for a brighter future for all of us – unified.
